Maybank Asset Management, Malaysia – Amanah Hartanah Bumiputera – 9th Asset Injection and Cash Injection

Pelaburan Hartanah Berhad (“PHB”), as the Sponsor and Maybank Asset Management Sdn Bhd, as the Manager of Amanah Hartanah Bumiputera (“AHB” or “the Fund”), wish to announce that PHB and AmanahRaya Trustees Berhad (“ART”), as the Trustee of the Fund, have agreed for Maersk Warehouse (previously known as LF Logistics Warehouse) and Wisma Consplant to be substituted with the same assets and reinjected at a higher injection value vide notice of exercise of the Substitution Undertaking dated 8 November 2023 for a consideration of an additional RM100,000,000 (for Maersk Warehouse) and RM50,000,000 (for Wisma Consplant) payable via issuance of new AHB units in addition to their existing injected value of RM95,000,000 (for Maersk Warehouse) and RM155,000,000 (for Wisma Consplant).

Pursuant to the Lease Agreement dated 7 December 2023 entered into between PHB and ART, ART leases Maersk Warehouse and Wisma Consplant to PHB as follows:

In addition to the above 9th Asset Injection, the Sponsor had also injected RM50,000,000 in cash into AHB for issuance of new AHB units.

The AHB units are available for subscription from 18 January 2024 at all Maybank, AmBank, AmBank Islamic and Bank Islam branches nationwide. A copy of the Third Supplementary Prospectus dated 18 January 2024 (which supplements the Prospectus dated 1 December 2020, as amended by the First Supplementary Prospectus dated 30 November 2022 and the Second Supplementary Prospectus dated 15 November 2023) in relation to the 9th Asset Injection and Cash Injection can be obtained from www.maybank-am.com.my/product.
